THREE WOWS FROM THE END OF THE 2012 SEASON!

Picture
WOW 1

AMERICAN  EAGLE WINS DIVISION II FIRST PLACE TROPHY!!

Team Captain Natasha Lukes and "A" Team leader Bjorn  Vandug proudly hold the NAASF Division II Championship Cup for the 2012 Ski Season!
After a challenging year American Eagle persevered and earned the most points for a Div. II Team.

CONGRATULATIONS AMERICAN EAGLE!!!

WOW 2

AA "B" Ladies sweep 2nd,3rd,4th 5th places at Sun Valley!
Our "Super B" women's team did it again!  Great skiing by Gulcin Gilbert (2nd), Jana Sinn (3rd), Laurie Hanson (4th), and Natasha Lukes (5th) help them to dominate the podium and earn the most points of any of our groups.  It was scary because they all shared a condo together at Sun Valley, and It lead to questions of "Just what is Laurie putting into her TOFU this week?"  Regardless  they out skied (and out danced) the competition and we are very happy for them.

WOW 3

DANIELLE HONORE WINS "A" WOMENS OVERALL 1ST PLACE FOR THE YEAR!!!

For the past few years, Danielle has been our most consistent "A" Team participant.  She has attended race camps, skied and trained with "A" Team captain Mark Ralston, and has made as many of the ski weeks as possible human in these tough economic times.  She consistently ran the courses and continued to improve every race she ran.  Well it finally paid off!  Not only did she win First Place in the "A" Women's GS course, she then was awarded the top prize of the year with the First Place overall Trophy.  We were all so excited and yelling and cheering, that no one got a good picture of the award, but will post it at soon as I find one!  All of us on the team are overjoyed and proud of Danielle.

A Well deserved honor for a GREAT lady!!!
