Greetings from your B Team Captain.

I wasn't able to fulfill all my duties last season due to a mid life crisis, and trust me, when you can't ski, it's a crisis! What was a broken ankle has healed and I'm back on track and can't wait to hit the slopes.
Last season saw new racers come out and sweep the competition as well as our stalwart B mens and ladies racers continue to make points for the team and improve, while hitting the jacuzzi and dance floor with equal vigor. Amazing! B racers know how to have fun!
I'm sure that this year will be no exception, and with our former USAir compadres now at our side it's going to get really exciting.
This seasons lineup of ski venues offers some destinations that we haven't seen in some time with Taos, New Mexico in January, Heavenly, CA in February, Levy Finland for the international meet, and classy Sun Valley, ID to close out the season. Trust me, you don't want to miss any of these, although you may need a nose mitten for Levy...that's the price of reindeer watching.
It's going to be an incredible season so dust off those skis and come on out and join the Killer "B"'s. You won't be disappointed, I promise!
If you have never raced or would just like to brush up on your skiing I highly recommend Race Camp in Steamboat, December 6-10th. Steamboat does an awesome job for us and it's a great way to try new techniques, push yourself out of your comfort zone, and hang with airline folk who just love to ski....!

Happy Thanksgiving,
Laurie :-)
