The details are from here on the NAASF Web Site:
Hi everyone and welcome to what we hope is going to be a killer ski season. As coordinators of this year's Snowbird NAASF event, Andre Guillemot and myself, Will Hairston, want to invite you all to an amazing resort (if it weren't we wouldn't be doing the 'Bird for a third year in a row).
With the cooperation and amazing support of Scott Appleman and the entire crew at Snowbird, we hope to make this an event to remember. We have three night parties and a lunch set up for you that won't dissapoint. Monday night we are looking for the best of the best playlists on your iPods, so charge'em and bring'em. There is a Tuesday lunch after the Snowboard race, the usual (which tends to be unusual) Wednesday night theme party, and Thursday night awards dinner. The theme for the Wednesday night party this year is MASQUERADE!! We want to see your wildest, craziest, goofiest masks and costumes. Keep everyone guessing who you are.
As you know, this is the closest full-service resort to a major international airport (SLC), so make it a priority to be here. Transportation discounts to and from Snowbird, as well as many others, are in this mailing so please read through it. This looks to be another great snow year, so don't forget your powder skis. We measure good Utah storms in feet, not inches. So, quit talking about coming and call in your reservations. NOW!!
Lodging
150 rooms will be held for NAASF until January 8, 2009. Rates are $139.00/night for The Cliff Lodge (standard room) & Lower Village efficiency studios. Lower Village 1 Bedroom condos are $299.00. A 3 night minimum stay is required for these rates. If making less than a 3 night reservation, rates are $154.00 & $349.00. A one night deposit at reservation will be taken & is fully refundable up to ten days prior to reservation. If you cancel inside ten days, a one night deposit will be forfeited. Also, if you leave sooner than what your room was booked for, the unused days are nonrefundable. When making your reservations don't forget to mention your affiliation to NAASF. Reservations and other contact information is below.
Make reservations early to be guaranteed a room at these rates. Rates do not include 11.55% state tax and a $6.00 per night resort fee.
A breakbown of this $6.00 per night fee goes as follows:

Transportation
Please mention if you need transportation to and from the resort when making your lodging reservations. The normal roundtrip rate for Canyon Transportation , the resorts contracted shuttle service, is $68.00. This rate is reduced to $62.00 round trip, or about a buck a mile. This discounted price is only available through Snowbird reservations, not Canyon Transportation. You will need to give your inbound and outbound flight information. Due to the fact that we travel on a space available basis you can change this information up to two days prior to arrival. If you get "bumped" from your flight, call Canyon Transportation and let them know your updated itenerary. Their contact information is listed below.
Lift Tickets
Tram & Chairs lift tickets will be $41.00/day for 1-4 days & $39.00/day for 5 days. These are great lift ticket rates discounted 43%. Normal rates are $72.00 for the tram & chairs! Sorry, partially used lift tickets are non-refundable.
So, that's the facts as of fifteen minutes ago. I will update this as new information comes to me, so don't be afraid to check this every few days. We are trying to arrange some type of deal for Après-Ski, but keep in mind this is Utah.
Team Dinners
It is the responsibility of each club's leadership to arrange their Tuesday club dinner, but because of the location of Snowbird, I am providing you with the contact info for their Conference Services & Catering manager, Chris Balun. Their catering in the past has been very nice and they are able to provide each team a private (partitioned) dining room for a very reasonable price. That information is provided below.
Can't wait to see all of you here,
Will Hairston
NAASF Event Coordinator
