Snowbird has come and gone!  We had a good turnout and we enjoyed a wide range of experiences.
                      We had sunny, beautiful weather:
Sunday, Monday and Tuesday were blue sky skiing days with perfect crisp, cold snow.
We had cloudy, snowy, foggy weather:
On Wednesday and Thursday we had cloudy weather with a mix of light snow, occasional fog, and some very flat light, making it challenging to ski and race.
                       We had exciting unexpected victories:
A new girl "Inger Loeser" showed up and won the newcomers race, the "B" GS, and the "B" slalom, all in one week.
                       We had sad unexpected losses:
Chicken man torqued his knee getting down to the "A" course and was done for the week.  Luckily he will be OK in a few weeks, and he had a great 2nd place finish in Snowboarding the day before.
                       We had tremendous point gains:
Our "B" Women nearly swept the podium with 1st, 3rd, 4th, and 5th places.  All I can say is "WOW" way to go ladies!!!
We had hardly any points added:
Delta brought people from out of the woodwork for this one and forged ahead in the points race, by the power of shear numbers. (A trick that we have used for years!)
                      The food was great:
Snowbird put on a great spread.   All the meals from Monday thru Thursday were excellent!  The parties were even better:
With a good turnout, it was great to see everyone and the Mardi Gras Party was a blast!
We had new members show up:
New recruits showed up and fit right in!  Mike Rounds, Anju Kapusinski, Alex Stellyes, Colette Something, Greg Fitts, Inger Loeser, Jeff Rich, Larry Stubbs, Yvonne Gonzales, all new faces, were great to have on the Team!
We had old members show up:
Well this list could go on forever, but thanks to all the gang that makes this team what it is!
It was a fantastic week of friends getting together and doing what we do best.  Having fun and making great memories of the best things in life!  Thanks everyone,  I hope to see you all soon, (think Sun Valley, a tradition like no other)  Take care,  your Pres, Rick

Past President Gail Head was kind enough to offer me some advice.  No,  it wasn't in the area of how to dress!!!  Gotta love the hair though!
