A great time was had by all.
 "How can this be?" you say.  There was no snow, the attendance was down, the company is in bankruptcy reorganization. 
 The truth is that it was a fun week, the snow (all man made) was great, most of the old gang was back, and the parties picked up where they left off last year!

First regarding the snow.  While it is true that there was little or no natural snow anywhere on the mountain, the snow making crew at Northstar must be the best in the country.  The runs that were open were well covered, well groomed, and held up well even during the warm days that we had.  They did a particularly good job on the hill.  Combine this with the outstanding work of the Race department that provided us with six race courses that were fun, safe, and fair, not to mention that the races were run as smooth as any I have ever attended.

While the parties were smaller because of the lower attendance,  they were well attended and everyone got into the spirit and fun of the event.  THe theme party of "Things that don't exist" had a variety of creative and unusual outfits, and nearly everyone had an outfit of some kind.  OK Amoia's was a little weak, but then again he had been a little busy.  BTW  THanks again Steve for helping fill in for Jim as coordinator and all.  Some pictures should emerge on Facebook and other places to confirm this observation.

We had beautiful weather, (a lot of suntan lotion was applied) we all got to do some free skiing together, (the races went so fast because of the aforementioned situations, and it was just great to see all our friends from all the other airlines back again this year.
